back to the start!
Hello everyone! Another amazing week in the WVM! The weeks here actually fly so fast it's so insane!
HIGHLIGHTS:
- TRANSFERS: This week was transfers and I'm back in WALNUT GROVE! My first area! I'm very excited to be back because I was only here 1 transfer before. I'm here with Sister Wood and I just love her! We have had an absolute blast and I'm so excited for this transfer! She's so ready to work and I can't wait to see the miracles that will happen!
- JOSH: We have a new friend named Josh! We haven't actually met him in person yet but he's so cool! Another sister in the mission found him on Facebook and we have 2 phone call lessons. He is so in need of the gospel and is so eager to learn. We have 2 lessons with him this week so we are very excited to see how things go! Pray for Josh!
- CHURCH: Church was SO FUN! I got to see so many members that I just love so much! It's been really fun to talk with people and catch up and I just love this ward. I was surprised how many members actually remembered me because I was so new and quiet and I wasn't here long so it's been very exciting!
- MLC: We had MLC this week and it was super good! It's just the best to see so many of my mission friends! It was our last MLC with President Mann which is crazy. It's going to be wild to not have him here next transfer!
- LUMPIA NIGHT: One of the members made us lumpia so we had a lumpia dinner night with the other sisters in our ward! It was so fun to get to know them some more and just spend time hanging out with them!
LOWLIGHTS:
- GOODBYES: Leaving Elma was literally one of the hardest days of my life! Elma is genuinely my second home and it felt like leaving my family all over again! But it made me so grateful to know so many amazing people! It's been hard to not be there but I'm thankful to be somewhere that I love!
SPIRITUAL THOUGHT:
This week we have been talking with members about things they can do to share the gospel. I have been loving 3 Nephi 12:16: "Therefore let your light so shine before this people, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven." Sharing the gospel is as simple as shining your light! We are all blessed with the light of Christ and being able to share that with people is such a blessing! I invite you all to shine your light this week and share it with someone!
I love being a missionary and I am so excited to be back in Vancouver! Email me! I love hearing from you all! Have a great week! Love yall loads!
