we're popular 💅

Hey hey heyyyy!!!! How is everyone?!? This week was actually incredible! Miracles are happening left and right here in Lake Sac and I'm loving every second of it! I would love to hear from you so email meeee!!!

HIGHLIGHTS:
  • GENERAL CONFERENCE: WOW WOW WOW I LOVE GENERAL CONFERENCE! I came out with so many incredible takeaways and things that the Lord needs me to do. I felt like every message was written specifically for me and I just loved every second. We got to spend sessions with members and recent converts and basically just all the people I love so much. I particularly LOVED Elder Patrick Kearon's talk and the amazing message he shared! Once it comes out you all should go read it!
  • SO MANY FRIENDS: This week was PACKED with miracles! We found 7 new friends which is the most I've found in a single week my entire mission! God is so good😭We had so many spiritual on-the-spot lessons and it's so rewarding to see our hard work paying off. Sister White and I work so well together and work so hard! We are both feeling extremely grateful for the friends we met this week! Keep them all in your prayers please!
  • RAY: Ray is the BEST! This week he came to a lesson with us as a fellow shipper and was just perfect. His testimony is so powerful and was exactly what our friend needed to hear! He has such a fire for sharing the gospel and we are lucky to have him. He's just a miracle.
  • EXCHANGES: I had two AWESOME exchanges this week! One with Sister Talbot who is a brand new proselyting missionary. She spent 6 months in Nauvoo at the historic sites and now gets to spend 6 months here and then goes back. We had a blast together. Saw miracles and had some really funny interactions but it was a super good night. I also had an exchange with Sister Schank and Sister Bollar, two of my best friends! It was also kind of a wacky night. They had planned to work this street right next to a big huge sewer and it smelled AWFUL! Of course I was stubborn and refused to knock that road so we picked a random new place to go but saw so many miracles so it worked out!
  • FEEDING SQUIRRELS: We met a man this week who was out feeding squirrels with walnuts and he gave us a bunch and now the squirrels are our best friends. It's been super fun.
LOWLIGHTS:
  • SKETCH PEOPLE: Being in a sketchy area when it gets dark really early is pretty scary. Most the time, we are pretty safe and try to stay away from the really bad areas. But Saturday night we had a really scary interaction. As soon as this man opened the door we knew it was bad news and the spirit was completely gone. We got out super quick and got priesthood blessings and I immediately felt a lot better! People here are scaryyyy though! Prayers up that we can survive the dark months here!
SPIRITUAL THOUGHT:
Like I mentioned early I LOVED Elder Patrick Kearon's talk. I love that he said "This is the church of new beginnings! This is the church of fresh starts!" God gives us endless chances to start over and that's one of my favorite things about this gospel! He's a loving God and wants us to be able to return to Him, so He makes that possible! How incredible is that?!

I love you all and know that God loves you too! Have a great week!
