Kuzco the Llama
What's up friends and family! I miss you all like crazy! There wasn't anything too exciting this week, but still a good week.
HIGHLIGHTS:
- GENERAL CONFERENCE: General conference was so good this weekend! I am so thankful that we got to spend conference at members' houses, it was so much fun! I learned SO much! One of my FAVORITE talks was Elder Uchtdorf's! I also absolutely loved Sister Yee's! If you didn't get the chance to watch conference please do it! Also please send me your favorite talks! So many of the talks spoke to me and I have so many action items to apply to my life! I'm so thankful for a prophet and that we have chances to hear from him! He is amazing!
- PANCAKE PARTY: Saturday night we got together with all the sisters who live in our apartment building and had a pancake party! We made a bunch of pancakes and just got to hang out together! It was especially fun because the other sisters aren't even in our zone! They are so awesome though! Mission friendships are the best!
- TIM & LISA: Tim and Lisa are continuing to progress so well! Hopefully they will have a baptismal date this week so please continue praying for them! They have amazing testimonies and we love them so much! They were able to watch General Conference on Sunday and sent us so many things they learned! We are so excited for them!
- INTERVIEWS: This week we had interviews with President Mann! Unfortunately they were only 10 minutes and over zoom because he was so busy but it was still amazing! President always knows exactly what I need and I feel so much love from him! He is one of the most in tune and intelligent people I've ever met. He's awesome!
- PUMPKIN CARVING: Last Monday our whole district carved pumpkins! It was so fun! It was some solid quality time together just getting to hang out and have fun! October is also my favorite month so I was so stoked to get to carve pumpkins hahaha.
- LLAMA: We saw the cutest llama this week. He was just like the llama from Emperor's New Groove so we named him Kuzco and he's super awesome.
LOWLIGHTS:
- SLOW WORK: This week the work was super slow. No one new and just a lot of unanswered doors. We are praying that we can continue to find luck in this area and find those who need us. Keep praying for the Whipple Creek area that it can keep progressing!
SPIRITUAL THOUGHT:
If you haven't had the chance to listen to Elder Uchtdorf's talk I invite you all to do it! I loved it so much! He talked about Christ's love and how it always persists and never faileth! Hard times will persist, but so will His love! This is amazing! He will never ever stop loving us! No matter what our circumstances or situation may be. He loves us more than we can comprehend!
Have the most amazing week ever! Don't forget that Christ loves you and I do too!!!
