the last one😭

 Hello my friends! This is my last email I will send as a full time missionary😭I cannot believe how fast it has gone! I fly home on Wednesday and I am so so sad to leave! I can't wait to see you all again though:)

HIGHLIGHTS:

• CHRISTMAS PARTY: We had our mission Christmas party basically all day Wednesday and it was so much fun! We honestly just played games all day. Half of the mission was there and we actually got to play a game that included all of the missionaries! It was called House of Fire and it was a blast! We also played Telestrations and some card games and ate all sorts of junk food! It was such a blast! After the party, all the departing missionaries got on the van and headed to Vancouver! 
• SLEEPOVER: I got to have the best sleepover of my entire life haha. It was me, Sister Roper, Sister Morgan, Sister Sanders, and Hermana Schalesin. We all are going home and spent Wednesday night together before the temple trip on Thursday! When Sister Roper and her companion picked us up, there was still a little bit of finding time and they had a dinner with a friend, so we got dropped off at a random apartment complex with no SIM to go finding for an hour. It was wild but SO fun! We talked to so many cool people and saw so many miracles:)
• DEPARTING TEMPLE TRIP: Thursday we had our departing temple trip. There are just about 20 of us going home so it was a huge group! But it was so special! We did an endowment session and then we all went to olive garden together! So many of my best friends are in this group and we had a ton of fun. 
• DEPARTING INTERVIEW: I had my last interview with President Pulsipher! It was so good! He truly is the best and I feel extremely blessed to have him as a mission president. We talked all about my plans and we talked about this upcoming transfer in the mission and he showed me all his plans. It was a great interview:)
• WARD PARTY: The Lake Sacajawea ward had their party this weekend and it was perfect. We had food and cobbler and carols and the youth put on a really special program. They did a shadow place of the nativity and it was so powerful. I think everyone was crying! It was incredible!

LOWLIGHTS

• CRAZY STORY: Okay so we had the most WILD experience of my entire mission. We discovered that one of the friends we were teaching is actually a complete creeper. He has been targeting sister missionaries since 2019🤯So we called our mission president and he had us put together a whole document of evidence to send over to Salt Lake...what a way to end my mission haha! 
• THE END: I am so sad to leave my mission! The last 18 months have flown by! I spent this weekend saying goodbye to all of my favorite people and I will miss them all so much! 

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT:

My mission has completely changed my life! Before my mission, I knew of my Savior, and now, I know my Savior! He has truly become my best friend! The gospel is so joyful and I have learned that as we embrace it all, it is life changing! I am so grateful for my Heavenly Father and all He has taught me these last 18 months! I will forever be grateful for my mission!
