Rollercoaster ride🎢

 Hi friends! This week was wild! So much happened but it was a good week anyways! 

HIGHLIGHTS:

• EXCHANGES: I got to go on exchanges with Sister Bernier in Castlerock this week and it was so fun! It was so awesome to get to know her and spend a day with her! She has such a fun energy and fire for the work! The exchange was crazy, we got bashed for 30 minutes but it was still a great night! Castlerock is the CUTEST little town and I loved getting to spend an evening there! 
• INTERVIEWS: We had interviews with President Pulsipher this week! They were definitely different than what we are used to but they were good! We did walking interviews so we walked laps around the building while we talked. It was actually really fun! We also got to hang out with Sister Pulsipher all day which was the best! I love her SO much! Interview days are some of my favorite days! 
• MLC: We had our first MLC with President Pulsipher this week! Again it was super different but it was good. It was only about 2 hours long which was so wild. I was so happy to see so many of my best friends though. I feel super blessed to be part of the MLC. 
• IVY: Ivy is literally AMAZING! She's so solid! We had 2 really awesome lessons with her this week and she is picking up the gospel so quickly. She has a lot of opposition against her but she is standing strong in the gospel and it's so inspiring to see. We unfortunately will be passing her off to the YSA elders this week but she is amazing! 
• ANNA + BROOKE: We found the cutest 14 year old girls this week! The hermanas told us they talked to them so we went and stopped by and they were so excited to talk to us! They have both gone through a ton of hard things in their life and just need the gospel so bad. Right as we were about to leave, their mom came out and Anna showed her the Book of Mormon we gave her and she said " Oh I have one of those!" We found out she used to meet with missionaries but stopped because of some family things and would be interested in meeting again! Miracles all around! 
• WARD BBQ: Our ward put together a super last minute ward BBQ but it turned out amazing! Our friend Suzie came and loved it! We also had a brand new friend named Rebecha there and she also brought a friend! It was such a blast! 
• JOANNA: We finally got to have a lesson with Joanna this week after actually forever! She is AMAZING! She is living her life basically as a member and I love it. She has to wait til November to be baptized but she is SO prepared and really excited for when that day comes! 
• JOHNATHON: Okay remember Johnathan from my last area? He got baptized this weekend! He sent me pictures and was just SO happy! He's such a light! Look at the pictures to see him:)

LOWLIGHTS:

• CHRIS: Unfortunately our friend Chris, who we put on date last week, broke up with us this week. His family started feeding him anti and it just really got to him. It was a really sad day! But we had a WML correlation that night and our ward mission leader and his wife made our day so much better! They're the best and I'm so thankful for them! 

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT:

Recently, we have been sharing this scripture with our members. 

Helaman 6:3

3 Nevertheless, the people of the church did have great joy because of the conversion of the Lamanites, yea, because of the church of God, which had been established among them. And they did fellowship one with another, and did rejoice one with another, and did have great joy.

I love this verse! The church truly does bring great joy into our lives! As a missionary, I get to watch this joy completely transform people's lives and it's so special!
