history made in the WVM
Hello hello! This week was so so good! I have loved everything this week and I can't wait to tell yall about it!
HIGHLIGHTS:
- HISTORY IN THE MISSION: This week was the very first Russian baptism in the WVM! So exciting! We were able to attend and bring a friend with us and it was so special! Vladimir is so cool and the spirit was so strong!
- EXCHANGES: This week I went on so many exchanges! We have 4 throughout the week! I spent Tuesday evening with Sister White in Walnut Grove! I spent Wednesday evening with Sister Ralphs in Whipple Creek! We did a zone exchange on Thursday evening so I was in Battleground with Sister Page and Sister Kezos! And then Friday night I was with Sister Tualla! It was so exhausting and definitely pushed me out of my comfort zone but I loved it all and learned so much! We saw so many miracles and I just love getting to serve around so many fun sisters!
- JOHN: We met the COOLEST friend this week! We were at the park and saw this man walking his dog so we went over and talked to him. He has recently changed his whole life around and said he's wanting a fresh start. After talking more, we gave him a Book of Mormon and set up a lesson for Friday. We had that lesson and he accepted a soft baptismal invite! Then on Saturday we gave him a church tour and he attended Vladimir's baptism and came to church on Sunday. He loves learning and really wants to be closer to God! Pray for him!
LOWLIGHTS:
- RAIN: The rain decided to come back this week and it was heavy rain! We were soaking wet! I forgot how hard it can be to work on cold, dark, rainy days. But we made it and saw miracles along the way!
SPIRITUAL THOUGHT:
This week we listened to a talk called the Divine Call of a Missionary. It made me realize that we are placed EXACTLY where God needs us to be. Whether you are serving a mission or not, God puts you where you need to be to influence certain people. This has helped me to really appreciate every place I'm in and has made me be more aware of every opportunity around me!
I hope you all have the best week! Love you all!!!
