HEAT WAVE

 Hi friends! This week was AMAZING! So many amazing amazing miracles! Let's get into it!

HIGHLIGHTS:

• ZONE CONFERENCE: We had our last zone conference with President and Sister Mann this week. It was so good! At the end they bore their testimonies and so did the mission presidency and it was actually so sad! I am going to miss them so much! Zone conference was amazing though! It was all focused on finding with faith. Our mission recently rolled out a policy that 10-11 am we have to be outside talking with people and so to put it into action, they mixed up all the zone leadership with random companions in random areas and we went out finding from 10-11. I was with Sister Sanders in Kalama and it was amazing! We pulled up and there weren't very many people but as we prayed and got out of the car, we both saw this man and knew immediately we needed to talk to him. We ended up giving him a Book of Mormon and set up a phone call lesson with him! Since it's not my area I'm not sure how he's doing now but such a miracle! In the 1 hour, all of the zone leadership found 27 people! It was so cool! God is definitely hastening His work! 
• EXCHANGES: I got to go on two exchanges this week! One with Sister Kezos who is from Utah and One with Sister Tualla who is from the Philippines! It was so fun to work with them and get to know them more. We saw SO many miracles on these exchanges! 
• 11 MONTHS: I hit 11 months of being a missionary this week! It does not feel real to me, time has flown by so fast! Everyday as a missionary is such a blessing and I'm so grateful! 
• MIRACLES: There have been SO MANY miracles this week! There's one in specific I wanted to share with you all. Yesterday it was SO hot and we had been out walking for a while and there wasn't anyone who wanted to talk to us so we headed back to the car. Just as we hopped in the car, the lady walked by and so I rolled down my window and started talking to her. She just recently started exploring religion and has been praying for guidance in that. She took a Book of Mormon and we got her phone number because she said we were the answer God sent to her! 

LOWLIGHTS:

• HEAT WAVE: It has been so insanely hot this week! The last couple days have been in the 90s with humidity and it's been rough! I've had to really motivate myself to be out working but we have seen so many miracles from it! 

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT:

This week I had the opportunity to speak in church. I spoke about sharing the gospel and while preparing, I studied a talk called "Sharing the Gospel" by President Oaks. I loved this quote from the talk! "The Lord loves all of His children. He desires that all have the fullness of His truth and the abundance of His blessings. He knows when they are ready and He wants us to hear and heed His directions on sharing the gospel." God has such a perfect plan for each one of us here on earth. He knows us all and is so aware of us and our needs. It's our responsibility to listen to the prompting we receive so we can help those around us receive blessings.
