Christmas already????
Hello hello hello! This week was so awesome and I'm so excited to tell you all about it!!!
HIGHLIGHTS:
- HALLOWEEN! Okay so for anyone who knows me, you know I love Halloween, and let me tell you, Washington people go all out for Halloween! It is SO FUN! So many fun decorations and people just love it! On Halloween we were told we have to work the whole night, so til 8 pm, but that we couldn't knock doors or street contact. So as a zone we decided to get together and do media for an hour and a half at the end of the night and it was so fun! I'm starting to love media and seeing miracles come from it is so cool! We talked to some really cool people this night!
- TRUNK OR TREAT! Our ward combines with 2 other wards in the stake and we did a huge trunk or treat together. It was AWESOME! There were so many people and everyone loved it! We even had 2 of our friends come which was awesome! Seriously, people here love Halloween!
- CHRISTMAS??? Our Bishop LOVES Christmas. He is one of the few people here who would be totally okay to skip over Halloween because he loves Christmas so much. We showed up to church on Sunday and he was wearing a Christmas tie and Christmas socks so I totally made fun of him. And then we showed up to ward council and our opening song was Joy to the World. Christmas is starting here in the Whipple Creek ward!
- MIRACLE AFTER MIRACLE! The amount of miracles this week is CRAZY! We have seen the Lord's hand SO clear in our work this week. Every night we are just so amazed at the miracles we see during the day. We stopped teaching some friends and the miracles have been flowing in after that sacrifice! We have 9 new potential friends this week so we are so excited for them!
- SAVED A LIFE! We saved a dog's life this week! We saw a dog wandering up the road so we called the number on the collar and helped get the dog to the owner. As soon as the owner walked away with the dog, a bunny ran across the street and then a coyote came chasing after it. Super silly I know but we saved the dog from being eaten.
LOWLIGHTS:
- STOP TEACHING: This week we made the hardest decision ever to stop teaching a lot of our friends. It's so hard to do that but sometimes it's what they need! And we have seen God blessing us since we made this hard decision.
- RAIN RAIN RAIN: I really should stop putting this as a lowlight because I really need to just get used to it but it rains SO MUCH! I saw the sun for like one day this week and besides that it was just wet and rainy. It's so crazy!
SPIRITUAL THOUGHT:
Today for my spiritual thought I wanted to share a video that I just LOVE! And I want everyone to go watch it today and send me what they liked!
