did he just do that????

 hey hey hey! another week down! time is flyingggg it's crazy! 

HIGHLIGHTS:

• LUNCH WITH LISA! we went to lunch with lisa this week! this was so good! it was so fun to have some time to just sit and talk with her and to enjoy some good food! she's genuinely one of our best friends and we just love her a ton! she's so close so pray super super hard for her!!! 
• OUR AMAZING MEMBERS! our members are the absolute greatest! this week we got so many kind gifts from them! one gave us a big halloween basket with fun treats and decorations and drinks! one gave us a big huge basket of hot chocolate and cookies and marshmallows! and we had some really awesome member meals! they spoil us so much and we love it! we feel so loved by them! 
• EXCHANGES! I got to go on exchanges with sister morrow this week! she is amazing! she's a lot like me and we got along so well! I learned so much from her and I loved getting to be back in Walnut Grove with her! we met some really cool people and a few ukrainian people which was so cool! while talking to one, his 4 year old son ran over and flipped us off. it was crazy! we looked at each other and were like "No way he just did that"! it was wild! 
• MAX! okay friends! this was awesome! we met max at the park and just talked to him about his dirt bike. we gave him a church card and just left, clearly not thinking much of it because he wasn't very interested at all. the next morning, he texted us and said "hey this is max, I want to come to church". WHATTTT!!?!?!? so awesome! he came to church and loved it! turns out he lives in another area so we will turn him over to them but he's really cool! 

LOWLIGHTS:

• COLD! this week has been starting to get so cold! it's weird because it's humid cold so it just sinks right through your bones. it's terrible. yesterday I wore joggers under my dress because I was so cold haha! I looked super silly but it was worth it! 

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT:

this week's spiritual thought actually comes from a member that we stopped by this week. we had shared with them some of the "Tender Mercies of the Lord" talk by Elder Bednar (everyone go read it) and while we were chatting about it after, we were talking about tender mercies in their lives. she said to us "even if you can't feel the lord specifically helping you, he is always walking beside you". and i LOVED this! sometimes it can be extremely hard to clearly see how the lord is helping you, but no matter what, he is walking right next to you in everything!
