JESUS ON TOP!😎

Hello everyone!!! This week was AMAZING! I miss you all like crazy! I hope all is well at home! So many cool things happened this week! 

HIGHLIGHTS: 

• TEMPLE! We got to take Joseph on a temple tour this week! It was AMAZING! It was so dang good! His whole countenance changed and he loved it so much! He told us that he wants to come to the temple every week after he's baptized! He is hopefully getting baptized the week of August 24, he just has to double check his work schedule! He loves Jesus and is so excited to get baptized! We love him so much! 
• NEW ASSIGMENT ORIENTATION! This last Tuesday we had new assignment orientation! All of us new missionaries were in a group together and it was so much fun to see them all! I missed my travel buddies and I was so excited to spend the day with them! I learned so so much from President and Sister Mann and I am so grateful for them! They are the best and love what they do! I also met a ton of new people this day which is always so much fun! 
• MIRACLES! We have seen some AMAZING miracles this week! We have met some amazing people and some AMAZING new friends! One miracle specifically happened yesterday! We had a member referral and decided to stop by. She answered and was super not interested at first. She started walking away but then we started talking about the Book of Mormon. We shared a verse with her and she loved it. We asked if she wanted to read more and she said YES! We gave her a Book of Mormon and we are going back tomorrow to talk with her! God really is amazing and miracles like this make me so happy! 
• CHURCH! Church this week was amazing! Juan came to church for the first time which was AMAZING! He is so cool! He lives in a halfway house because he's just getting out of prison but he loves God and loved church yesterday! We also had a new friend we've never met at church! We took her to relief society with us and she loved it! She said she is looking forward to coming again next week! I also got to speak in church this week which was actually fun! I normally hate speaking but for some reason I was so excited to speak yesterday! 
• EXCHANGES! I got to go on a few exchanges this week! My companions are sister training leaders so we get to have a lot of exchanges! I love exchanges! I love being with new sisters and getting to know them! Exchange miracles are real too! Some of our greatest miracles happen while we are on exchanges and it's so cool! 
• 1 MONTH! On Thursday I hit one month as a missionary! Time has already started to fly and it's so crazy! I love it so much here and I just love being a missionary! There is so much joy in the work and I'm so thankful I get the chance to be such a tool in the Lord's hands! 

LOWLIGHTS: 

• EXHAUSTED: I am so exhausted every single day! This is so weird to me because it's not at all physically exhausting but every single day I am so tired by the time I get home! I'm feeling so grateful for 10:30 bedtime haha! 

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT! 

This week I got to speak in church! I talked about being a light to the world and I mainly focused on Christlike attributes! One attribute that really stuck out to me this week was hope! Having hope is so important, but can also be really hard! I read a talk by Elder Holland called "A Perfect Brightness of Hope"! If you haven't read this you should! It's such a good talk! In this he said "we can hope, we should hope, even when facing the most insurmountable odds." I LOVE this! Because of Jesus Christ, we have to ability to have hope in every circumstance! As we hope, we feel a deeper sense of joy for our life! I invite you all to find more hope in your life this week!
